How To Get EDU Backlinks

Now I would just be plain wrong of me to give away my secret sauce but i feel it's best to give you guys a bit of insight into how I actually generate 100's of edu backlinks each month for numerous websites and blogs.

The first thing I can tell you is it involves Google. No, not some kind of internet partnership or affiliate program - Google Search. Google search is the first place I start each and every time. Well I take that back. I only go there when looking for newer resources than those I already have. Speaking of - I've been doing this for a long time and have accumulated a virtual arsenal of killer edu backlinks strategies.

So I when I go to google I use what's known as search operators. most do not know about search operators. For thos of you who don't here's an explanation. A Google search operator is a string of special characters, text, and keyword phrases used to refine search results. What's really cool is you can use these for just about anything.

Here's an example. If you we're looking for let say toaster ovens with at least 20 reviews that were between the price of $100 and $150 then you would use a special string like this.

site:www.amazon.com "$100...150" "toaster oven" "1...5 reviews"

This tells the search engine to look only on amazon.com for toaster ovens with a price range of 100 to 150 dollars with at least but no more than 5 reviews. Damn! Now that's what I call specific. Now how does this relate to edu backlinks? You can use a similar formula - which I can't give out. In fact there are over 25 that we have collected that we use to find edu websites that allow us to leave backlinks. It's not as easy as you think - finding 25 strings that is.

We had to build out each one over time. It took a long time and it was mostly trial and error but the results have been phenomenal to this point.

Why are edu backlinks so popular? That"s an easy one. Our big brother G sees these as high weight high value websites. Getting an edu backlink from one of these websites looks really really good to Google and helps boost search engine rankings for your website. Here's a word to the wise. Most edu backlinks are something called no follow and this means the web master is telling google they did not place this link on their site therefore please ignore it. When this happens Google indexees the link but does not offer the true value it's worth.

We have a list of great edu websites to get edu backlinks from that are in fact do follow ( as the seo community says). Not that there is actually any code used with the term "dofollow" but it's to make the point that the link will be followed by google and you will receive the link juice.
